Job DescriptionJob DescriptionVentura is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Flight Crew Planner to join our team in Nashville, TN with the primary task of working directly with Flight Operations team members, crewmembers, and the executive leadership team to aid in day-to-day operation and maintenance of records. The role supports those performing daily operations tasks predominantly focused on flight operations and crew member logistics. This role reports directly to the Director of System Operations Control.

The Crew Planner will work closely with the Chief Pilot and operations team to ensure that crew records are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Aid Travel Logistics with the booking of hotels and transportation.
  • Assist Flight Operations with email, and phone communications with pilots.
  • Responsible for the uploading, updating and review of all crewmember electronic records.
  • Assist the Chief Pilot in the coordination of all internal and external training events for crewmembers, to include working with all training vendors.
  • Answer phones and greet office visitors.
  • Collate and distribute mail.
  • Email communication with other departments.
  • Crew expenses
  • Inputting crew flight schedules into scheduling software
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Competitive candidates will have prior experience in aviation or travel logistics.
  • Competitive candidates will be quick learners, have experience working directly with leadership positions.
  • In pursuit of or having achieved an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Live in, or ability to relocate to Nashville, TN
  • Must be able to work night, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments/organizations.
  • Experience with MS Office and Google products such as Word, Excel, Google sheets, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize tasks.
  • Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S.


Compensation: $40,000+ based on experience.
