Job Summary:

Hitachi Energy is seeking a skilled Transformer Service Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our clients. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to power transformers, electrical testing, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel throughout the USA to visit customer sites and work with our Sales teams to identify opportunities for Hitachi Transformer Service Group.
  • Develop and implement solutions to customer problems, working closely with our Sales teams and Tendering Specialists.
  • Conduct pre-job and post-job walks, and assist with project management, including budgeting, scope of work, schedule, and manpower.
  • Collaborate with our Safety Managers and Service Work Planner to ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and work procedures.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience working in the field on Transformer Repair, preferably as a field crew leader with a minimum of 2+ years.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
