Full-Time - Shipping Lead

TIG and Exodus Direct, LLC seek a skilled and motivated individual to join our warehouse team as a Shipping Lead to assist in quality and on time delivery of customer products and orders. Job Summary

The Shipping lead is responsible for the physical movement of products, performing quality checks, maintaining inventory, and completing all required paperwork.

General Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead daily order shipping of customer and client products for on-time and accurate delivery.
  • Communicate discrepancies in products, orders, or performance issues to the Supervisor or Area Production Manager and work to resolve the issue for efficient and timely performance.
  • Follow, interpret, and apply client work instructions, and company policies and procedures with designated teams. Assist in leading teams in correct production and shipping methods.
  • Assist in assigning priorities to the shipping and production teams and monitoring the completion and quality of shipping and projects.
  • Monitor and lead designated teams in efficiency and quality.
  • Provide general warehouse support and additional duties as needed, such as organizing products, and maintaining clean and safe work areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Experience and competence with computers.
  • Ability to use a pallet jack and other basic warehouse equipment.

  • Detailed oriented, organized, and able to problem solve.
  • Ability to work independently and team orientated, able to work with diverse individuals within and outside the TIG/Exodus Organizations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 40 pounds on their own, use hands to grasp or handle objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, talk, and hear. Able to perform physical labor continually and stand for long periods.
