What Nonstop is Looking For:

Nonstop is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant with a group health insurance background. Ideal candidates must have a strong acumen for sales, a consultative style, strong calculation skills, patience for long sales cycles, and the ability to embrace change. Candidate will work closely with a diverse team albeit in a virtual environment.


Day In The Life:

As the Sales Consultant, you will spend non-peak enrollment times primarily conducting informational meetings with brokers, developing those broker relationships, prospecting, and working with the Marketing Department on lead generation through group presentations and varied activities. Peak times include working with the supervisor to develop financial analysis, presenting analysis/ proposals to prospective clients, collaborating with coordinators, closing sales, and ensuring smooth handoffs to the implementation teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and qualify new client and channel partner leads
  • Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
  • Conduct consultative prospect meetings with Producers, Account Managers, and Leadership from introductory meetings through financial analysis, quoting, and closing primarily virtually, occasionally in-person
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with preferred partners
  • Prepare financial analysis proposals
  • Track all sales activities in the company CRM system
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Meet and/or exceed quotas
  • Work closely with a team of coordinators, sales, marketing, and account management members
  • Assist the Account Management team with client retention as needed
  • Occasionally conduct informational webinars
  • Occasionally attend conferences as both an exhibitor and potential speaker, to generate leads, connect with clients and cultivate partner relationships.
Requirements:
  • 5 plus years of experience in Sales
  • Valid Life and Health License
  • 2 plus years of experience in Group Health Insurance
  • Experience with preparing proposals and financial analysis
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Advanced problem-resolution skills and communication abilities
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint/Slides, Word/Docs, Excel/Sheet skills
  • Willing to travel up to 40% or more during peak season
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Experience effectively collaborating with various teams and individuals at every level of an organization

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer per day
  • Repetitive use of fingers, hands, elbows, and arms including typing, reaching, grasping, and writing
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and carry 5-30 pounds occasionally
  • Hearing and speaking ability sufficient to carry on a conversation with another individual (or groups of individuals) in person and over the telephone.
  • Visual ability is sufficient to read and produce printed material and information displayed on a computer screen.
