This position reports directly to the company President and offers immense growth potential in a vibrant, multicultural setting. Bonus points if you're bilingual in English and Japanese

Duties and Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Smash annual revenue, profit, and growth targets.
  2. Uncover new market opportunities and strategize with your supervisor.
  3. Hit monthly KPIs for new contacts, customer meetings, quotations, and opportunities tracked in our dynamic CRM.
  4. Embark on regular customer site visits, building strong relationships and understanding key accounts.

Sales Activities:

  1. Get creative in prospecting for new customers using innovative approaches.
  2. Keep account records up-to-date and organized in the CRM.
  3. Craft and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations, and follow up with decision-makers.
  4. Conduct engaging quarterly new customer meetings and submit insightful reports.
  5. Manage the entire sales journey from initial inquiry to final acceptance and payment, including quotes, samples, negotiations, order confirmations, delivery, and payment terms.
  6. Meet regularly with your direct supervisor to review sales activities, discuss prospective customers, and strategize to meet sales goals.
  7. Develop a quarterly strategic plan with your supervisor to achieve sales goals and travel expectations.
  8. Collaborate on tradeshow planning, execution, and follow-up with the Account Management team.

  2. Stay ahead of the curve on trends, competitors, and developments in the semiconductor industry.
  3. Maintain regular communication with product managers to ensure timely and accurate customer support.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally by various means.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical sales or inside sales.
  • Hybrid role with 3-5 days per week in the Chicago office and 25% travel.

  2. Proficient in product demonstrations and engaging group presentations.
  3. Skilled in negotiations to maximize profit and manage risk.
  4. Effective coordination between customers and partner companies.

  6. Stellar time management skills to meet deadlines.
  7. Ability to juggle multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  8. Professional and approachable demeanor with customers.
  9. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  10. Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks.
  11. Bilingual in English and Japanese is an advantage.
