•We are a nonprofit dental clinic serving developmentally disabled patients. This is a wonderful
opportunity to put your surgical assisting skills into action while doing meaningful and impactful work.

•Work hours are 6:30 AM until 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday (32-hour work week)

Preferred Qualifications

Education

Graduation from recognized surgical technologist program.

Qualification Requirements

•Current CPR certification

Knowledge, skills, and Abilities

•Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

•Willing to gain additional dental assisting skills.

•Provides technical skills assisting dentist and operating surgical equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

•Assists in collaborative practice with healthcare team.

•Demonstrates cost effectiveness and efficiency with regard to time management and supply use.

System Responsibilities

•Safety:Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and
procedures.

Physical Demands

•Ability to lift 50lbs independently and greater than 50 with assistance.

•Bending/Stooping – Frequently (activity or condition exists from 1/3 to2/3 of time)

•Pushing/Pulling-Constantly (activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of time)
