Who We Want

The director who leads the Foundational Planning Group is responsible for implementing the CFP Board’s Financial Planning Process with individuals that fit within the service model of the Foundational Planning Group. This individual interacts with clients & teammates to gather information, analyze information, develop recommendations, implement recommendations, and monitor the financial plans of their clients on an annual or as needed basis. The director is expected to collaborate with other team members of Carson Wealth, as well as elevate the associate(s) supporting the Foundational Planning Group. The director is the face of the Carson Wealth relationship within this client segmentation and is expected to perform all duties (below) in a manner that represents the highest standard.

What To Expect

  • Adherence to the implemented service model / Foundational Planning Group Playbook.
  • Participates and conducts client meetings.
  • Prepares & delivers the Financial Planning recommendations.
  • Collaborates with members from each business line to best serve the client.
  • Ensures accuracy of internal Client Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Implements Financial Planning recommendations.
  • Monitors the Financial Plan and communicates with clients.
  • Updates Financial Planning recommendations.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education & Experience

  • 5 or more years of experience in a client facing role
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Active Series 65 license
  • Clean U-4
  • Designation(s) preferred, or willing to obtain:
    • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)
    • Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®)
    • Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC)
    • Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®)
