Recruiting Coordinator

Part time temporary

Up to 20 hours per week

$18-$21

 

The Recruiting Coordinator will implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent across three North American Abrasive Technology manufacturing facilities.  The Recruiting Coordinator will partner with the HR Generalists and hiring managers in recruiting for talent, including reviewing applications and completing phone screens for qualified candidates.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Schedule and attend role intake meetings with other HR staff and hiring managers to create new and updated job descriptions.
  • Screen applications and assist in selecting qualified candidates.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards and the needs of the organization.
  • Research, attend, and participate in job fairs and recruiting events.
  • Schedule interviews between candidates, other human resource staff and hiring managers.
  • Review passive candidate pool to recruit for the available roles.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Follow all company safety policies and practices.

Required qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in recruiting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

Desired qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with HRIS and/or Applicant Tracking software a plus

Physical requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on a consistent basis.
  • Sit in front of a computer for 4+ hours a day.
  • Willingness to work around chemicals and use appropriate PPE.
