SUMMARY

Maintain responsibility for achieving the project sales targets of by successfully executing duties and responsibilities outlined below. Appoint, direct and support selling channels for all industries, key vertical markets, EPCs, system integrators and OEMs within territory. Develop sales strategies and tactics to improve project market position for KROHNE products and solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Support selling channels for all industries, key vertical markets, EPCs, system integrators and OEMs within territory
  2. Set project funnel targets for all regions and sales channels; accountable for project targets for region
  3. Work with sales managers in their pursuit of sales projects to create pursuit teams, perform stakeholder analysis and develop strategies to win projects
  4. Implement project process of qualification, development, negotiation and execution with all parties
  5. Take the lead on projects over $250,000
  6. Hold sales managers and sales channels accountable for maintaining their project funnel and pipeline and target achievement
  7. Perform customer and executive level presentations with respective stakeholders and as needed for project pursuit
  8. Utilize sales and marketing software and CRM tools as required by management for sales planning, actions and pursuits while developing winning strategies
  9. Successfully complete E learning modules regularly and as required by management. Review published technical and sales communications for technical comprehension
  10. Travel approximately 60% within assigned region to successfully perform essential duties and travel as required by management to corporate office and/or Europe or other KROHNE offices

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No direct reports at this time but must work with sales managers, representatives and distributors throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; and four plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough knowledge of project pursuit and process control concepts and product applications gained through education and practical experience is required.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Proven experience with a high level of PC-literacy, familiar with business application software (e.g. MS Office, MS CRM Dynamics, Access, PowerPoint) especially presentation programs.

Clean driving record required. Must be legally able to drive vehicle alone as well as with sales channel partners. Required to provide driving record and insurance coverage level documentation to Company as deemed by current policies.

Ability to possess US Passport, TWIC card and other certifications as required

Must be able to visit customer plant sites & climb ladders on tanks as necessary
