As our Director of IT Operations, you will be the mastermind behind our hybrid systems, combining the best of on-premises and cloud-based solutions. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to guide our accelerated push to the cloud while ensuring our IT environment is rock-solid, secure, and ahead of the curve. The Director of IT Operations is a key member of the IT Leadership Team and contributes to the development and execution of enterprise-wide IT strategy. This role has direct influence on the IT mission and vision.


Responsibilities:

  • Craft and execute IT infrastructure strategies that align with our goals, focusing on our cloud migration journey.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of talented IT pros, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Keep our systems humming smoothly, ensuring high availability and performance. You will be the go-to for keeping everything running like a well-oiled machine.
  • Build relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay on top of emerging technologies, especially in cloud computing, and lead the charge in integrating new solutions.
  • Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring every dollar is spent wisely.
  • Lead incident response and problem resolution processes, making sure issues are fixed at lightning speed.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Associates degree with applicable experience will be given subjective weight.
  • 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including cloud-based solutions.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of hybrid IT environments and cloud migration strategies.
  • Stellar problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of solutions architecture and best practices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, ITIL) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies, techniques, and tools are a plus.
