We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our newly created National Accounts and digital sales team, focusing on driving sales growth at Amazon.com and Amazon.ca. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and optimizing product listings to maximize sales performance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape, particularly Amazon's platform, and a proven track record of success.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies to optimize sales and profitability
  • Coordinate with marketing and editorial teams to create effective promotional campaigns
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Amazon, managing the day-to-day relationship and communications
  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences on Amazon
  • Work with the operations team to ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment of inventory on Amazon
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and growth opportunities
  • Utilize analytics tools to track sales trends, campaign performance, and customer behaviors
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize product listings, enhance listing accuracy, and maximize visibility and conversion rates
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in publishing
  • At least 2 years experience working with Amazon
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Expertise in Amazon sales management and Amazon Vendor Central
  • Ability to strategize pricing, promotions and advertising initiatives

Location

Candidates must reside in the NY tri-state area, and be able to work in person 2 days per week.
