A DAY IN THE LIFE OF SCHEDULING COORDINATOR

Every day, our scheduler will spend time responding to and finding replacements for vacation requests, managing notifications for available shifts which can be picked up, monitoring overtime, and communicating with nursing leadership. Our scheduling coordinator will be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and able to learn computer software systems. The scheduler will use their organizational skills and attention to detail to provide visibility to leadership about current and future realities in scheduling. Every day, this individual will be motivated to fill holes in our schedule appropriately and to respond to requests in a systematic way in adherence with our established scheduling procedures and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR SCHEDULING COORDINATOR ASSISTANT

  • Must be positive, focused, and detailed oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn required.
  • Proficient in Excel

SCHEDULE

The Scheduling Coordinator will be scheduled from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
