Position Overview

The Patient Services Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical services. This position is responsible for a variety of essential tasks that contribute to the overall patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling Surgical Procedures: Efficiently coordinate and schedule surgical appointments to optimize the use of resources.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input insurance information and patient demographics into the facility's computer systems.
  • Documentation Management: Collect and organize all necessary documentation required for surgical procedures.
  • Patient Chart Creation: Develop and maintain comprehensive patient charts to ensure all relevant information is readily available.
  • Communication: Handle incoming calls professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Mail and Message Distribution: Manage the distribution of mail and messages to ensure effective communication within the team.

This role is vital in supporting the operational efficiency of Surgery Partners and enhancing the patient journey through dedicated service and attention to detail.
