Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to lead the Passenger Information Digital Displays (PIDS) Program. This position requires a strong background in project management, software development, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will manage multiple related projects, ensuring strategic alignment with business initiatives while leading a development team and working with third-party vendors.

 

Education & Certifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field. Experience can substitute for a degree when demonstrated through a strong portfolio of completed projects combined with verifiable certifications (e.g., PMP and Scrum Master Certification).

 

Technical Skills Required:

  • Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Clarity, Jazz, or Jira for planning, scheduling, and tracking project tasks.
  • Risk Management: Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks, with knowledge of risk management software and techniques.
  • Budgeting & Cost Management: Strong understanding of project budgeting principles and cost management tools to monitor and control expenses.
  • Resource Management: Skills in resource allocation and optimization to effectively manage personnel, equipment, and materials throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Schedule & Quality Management: Knowledge of scheduling techniques like CPM and Gantt charts, and understanding of quality assurance processes to maintain project schedules and deliverables.
  • Change Management: Ability to manage scope changes using change control processes and tools, minimizing scope creep and ensuring project alignment.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to effectively manage expectations and maintain stakeholder buy-in throughout the project.
  • Contract & Issue Management: Experience in managing vendor contracts and service agreements, along with the ability to resolve project issues using problem-solving techniques.
