We're currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Inside Sales team at our St. Elizabeth, MO location.

Position Overview: As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the frontline of our business, communicating with customers via phone and email, processing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your role will be crucial in servicing both new and existing accounts, providing timely solutions to inquiries and concerns, and building sustainable relationships with our valued clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers to receive orders and address inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Identify and assess customer needs to provide appropriate solutions and alternatives.
  • Handle customer complaints with professionalism, ensuring timely resolution and exceptional service.
  • Enter new customer data and update sales data accurately in our computer database.
  • Prepare quotations for customers and distribute them accordingly.
  • Confirm scheduling and order changes, providing status updates as needed.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery problems and process return requests for defective material.
  • Assist customers and arrange payment terms with accounting approval.
  • Ensure accurate order entry to prevent errors and omissions.
  • Provide technical literature to customers upon request.

Education/Experience:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and Contact Management systems.
