As a leader in precision spring manufacturing, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and innovation. We are looking for a talented professional who can help us expand our market presence, build lasting client relationships, and identify new business opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Defines available markets and trends, customer targets, and strategies to pursue them.
  • Acquires new business and develops new relationships with prospective customers to ensure sales goals are achieved.
  • Documents and utilizes information in Katy Spring’s CRM.
  • Meets with existing customers to maintain relationships.
  • Ability to re-engage customers who are low or non-performing by developing new strategies, offering solutions and tactics to develop and grow current business.
  • Cultivates customer relationships, laterally and above the primary contact.
  • Participates in sales meeting and provides pipeline and other sales related updates to sales team.
  • Prepares and delivers technical presentations that explain Katy Spring products and/or services to customers and prospective customers.
  • Understands and resolves customer issues regarding sales, service, etc.
  • Travel required.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary of $60K - $70K, plus commission
  • Benefits package includes 401K with match
  • Health insurance plans with 75% covered by Katy Spring

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial sales
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient account management, acquisition, retention and development skills
  • Proficient communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong capacity to learn a new industry.
  • High degree of initiative, mature judgment, and self-motivation.
  • Proficient knowledge in a Customer Relationship Management system which allows businesses to manage business relationships and the data and information associated with them.
