Recruiting agency startup looking to add an eager Sales & Marketing Assistant to the team. The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter who is capable of working cross-functionally on the planning and the implementation of marketing projects. You will need to display versatility in order to handle ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing marketing campaigns

  • Create graphics for social media posts

  • Undertake ad-hoc marketing projects

  • Manage administrative duties

  • Research potential new clients

  • Contact cold prospects

Ideal Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of organization and attention to detail

  • Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment

  • Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities

  • Ability to spot emerging trends

  • Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing and search engines

  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Strong writing and copy-editing abilities

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED certificate

  • 1-3 years experience in marketing or equivalent education

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)

  • Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.)

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva(Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere) a plus

  • Fluency in Google Workspace (Gmail, GCal, Sheets, Docs etc.)

Benefits

  • 1099 Contractor

  • Hours will vary based on project volume but is anticipated to average 5-10 hours/week

  • $20-$30/hour + Commission on new clients acquired
