The Dealer Development Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the strategic initiatives of TYM by analyzing and evaluating dealership performance, identifying market growth opportunities, and support the implementation of effective dealer development strategies. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, IT, and finance, to assess and manage critical data and information that drives dealer performance and enhances customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Planning: Collaborate with field sales team and dealerships to develop business plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and market share objectives. This may involve analyzing market trends, competitor analysis, and identifying growth objectives.
- Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of dealer development strategies and initiatives in alignment with TYM's overall business objectives. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and market research.
- Dealer Network Development: Collaborate with the dealer development team to identify potential dealership opportunities in target markets. Evaluate potential dealerships based on criteria such as location, market potential, financial viability, and alignment with TYM's brand image and objectives.
- Project Management: Lead and support dealer development projects, ensuring timely execution, adherence to project plans, and achievement of project goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
- Dealer Performance Evaluation: Develop and implement performance evaluation mechanisms and metrics to assess dealer performance. Monitor dealership activities and provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management. Identify underperforming dealerships and develop improvement plans.
- Analyze Dealer Network Performance: Conduct thorough analysis of dealership performance metrics, including sales, market share, profitability, customer satisfaction, and service quality. Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance dealer network performance.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure dealerships adhere to TYM’s standards, policies, and guidelines. This includes monitoring compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and ethical practices.
- Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate dealership performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, market potential, and competitive landscapes. Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and customer preferences. Use research findings to support the development of dealer strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis, CRM & project management platforms. and visualization tools (e.g., SalesForce, SAP, Click-up, Maptitude, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, GIS software).
- Solid understanding of equipment dealership operations, market dynamics & trends, and types of equipment solutions (outdoor power, agricultural, industrial segments).
- Knowledge of dealer network development strategies, dealer performance evaluation methodologies, and dealership financial analysis.
- Project management experience, including the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to visit dealerships and attend industry events.
