WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE A SYSTEMS ARCHITECT - EXPERT LEVEL

As an Expert-level Systems Architect at Mission Intelligence Group in Springfield, VA, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and development of innovative solutions for complex applications. Your 18+ years of experience and TS/SCI Clearance will be instrumental as you collaborate with the Government to ensure that solution architectures align with enterprise requirements and strategic goals. You will guide the analysis of user requirements, automate systems, and propose changes to optimize solution architecture designs. Additionally, you will oversee and coordinate the work of Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level Systems Architect contractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

To excel as an Expert-level Systems Architect at Mission Intelligence Group in Springfield, VA, you must possess a diverse skill set honed over 18+ years in the field and hold a TS/SCI Clearance. Strong problem-solving abilities, a dedication to excellence, and forward-thinking mindset are essential traits for success in this role. Excellent communication skills are crucial for effectively collaborating with the Government and guiding the analysis of user requirements. Leadership skills are also paramount as you oversee and coordinate the work of Systems Architect contractors of varying experience levels.

Skills and Experience:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience.
• Expert-level experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Department of Defense Architecture
Framework (DoDAF), or Intelligence Community's (IC) Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).

Desired:
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
• Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages.
• Federated Enterprise Architect Certifications: Certified Enterprise Architect
• National Defense University, College of Information and Cyberspace, Enterprise Architecture Certification
• Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience
• Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience
