Amida is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Development Content Manager, either in Washington, DC or in a remote capacity. The chosen individual will play a pivotal role in leading the development of high-quality technical business development materials, showcasing Amida's capabilities and track record while utilizing exceptional storytelling skills. Additionally, this role encompasses the crucial task of maintaining a robust tracking system to ensure Amida's technical content is updated on a consistent schedule so that it always reflects the company's "latest-and-greatest as well as managing and updating Amida's knowledge management platform.

What you will do:

  • Develop and lead the creation of technical business development materials which include capability overview presentations, white papers and other content that effectively communicate Amida's capabilities
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and other team members to gather information, ask intelligent clarifying questions, and produce insights as a basis for content creation
  • Write clear, concise, technically accurate, and compelling narratives that detail Amida's technical capabilities and accomplishments
  • Ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent tone and style
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business development and technical marketing, and incorporate them into content development strategies
  • Manage and maintain Amida's knowledge management platform, ensuring that information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
  • Develop and implement processes to streamline content creation and knowledge management workflows
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including leadership, service delivery, and business development, to align messaging and content strategies
  • Provide editorial support for various communication channels, including website content, white papers, customer-specific decks, and social media
  • Present finalized work to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of business development materials and knowledge management efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or related field
  • 3-4 years of proven experience in technical business development, content creation, and storytelling
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into easily understandable text and diagrams
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Solid understanding of fundamental business development, marketing, and branding principles
  • Experience with knowledge management platforms and content management systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Confidence to ask clarifying questions and fortitude to take ownership over processes and results
  • Knowledge of data management industry-specific terminology and trends preferred
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in healthcare, technology, or data analytics is advantageous
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and knowledge management platforms like Assembly is a plus
