How do I make an impact on my team?
The Host serves as the guests first impression of service, greeting and escorting guests to their table providing excellent customer service and a pleasant dining experience to all guests.
- Maintains seating charts and manages the order of waiting guests
- Checks guest identification if necessary to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Assists in beverage service, takes rooms service orders and inputs into POS system
- Serves food and/or beverages in a friendly and professional manner
- Posts payments using the point-of-service computer system
- Removes dishes and glasses from tables or counters and takes them to the kitchen for washing
