We are seeking to expand our service department and are looking for dedicated and personable Sales and Service Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will consult with current customers of ours to service their products and recommend other services we offer. Your goal? To diagnose/service products they have with us and introduce them to other aspects of the company they are not familiar with.


Responsibilities:

  • This role is primarily responsible for serving the customer through assessing needs and recommending appropriate products and/or services,
  • Service products such as dehumidifiers, sump pumps, etc.
  • Stay updated on the latest products, techniques, and regulations to provide accurate information and advice to clients, fostering trust and credibility
  • Work closely with installation crews to ensure seamless execution of proposed plans, providing necessary insights and instructions for successful implementation
  • Serve as a problem solver to identify the most efficient and effective solution for each customer's needs
  • Assess properties for multi-solution needs, identifying opportunities to cross-sell
  • Foster strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and communication


Qualifications:

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to clients in a clear and accessible manner
  • Experience working with HVAC or plumbing equipment preferred, but not required
  • Must have some technical/mechanical background
  • Ability to handle rejection, overcome obstacles, and maintain a positive attitude in a competitive sales environment
  • Willingness to collaborate with technicians, other sales team members, and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Proficiency in languages other than English is preferred, but not required
  • Skilled in operating computer software (we will train you)
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to walk, climb a ladder, kneel, and crawl
  • Ability to fit in crawlspaces to perform inspections
  • Must have a high school diploma or higher
  • A valid ID and safe driving record
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background and drug screen
  • Ability to work overtime, if needed
