Role Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Shop Manager to oversee our maintenance operations and ensure the efficient operation of our fleet. The Shop Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining our vehicles, managing inventory, and leading a team of skilled mechanics.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in diesel engines, hydraulics, and other mechanical systems.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

Responsibilities as a Shop Manager at JW Parker, Inc.:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of our maintenance team to ensure the timely servicing and repair of our fleet of trucks and equipment.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and prolong the lifespan of our vehicles.
Manage inventory levels and procurement of parts and supplies necessary for maintenance and repairs.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the maintenance team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
