About Our Client:

Our client, a well-respected nonprofit public policy organization, is seeking a Development Coordinator to support their expanding development program. This role is crucial to the organization’s fundraising and donor relations efforts.


Job Description:

The Development Coordinator will provide essential support to the development team, focusing on data management, donor research, and coordination of key activities. This role requires a strong organizational skill set and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage data and information within Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
  • Conduct thorough donor research and generate relevant reports.
  • Participate in team meetings, providing detailed notes and summaries.
  • Schedule meetings and conference calls for the development team.
  • Coordinate travel logistics and prepare expense reports.
  • Assist with planning and executing events and special projects.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience in fundraising or donor relations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Raiser’s Edge (or similar fundraising database), SharePoint, Salesforce.
  • Soft Skills: Highly organized with a strong sense of professionalism.
  • Education: BA/BS preferred.
