Job Description:
Read AI is seeking a motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our sales team. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our customer base and revenue by engaging and closing new business opportunities, particularly through a significant volume of inbound leads generated by our strong consumer user base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, particularly within the SaaS industry, and will thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inbound Lead Management: Quickly and effectively respond to a high volume of inbound leads, qualifying and converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: While the primary focus will be on inbound leads, identify additional potential customers through various channels, including cold outreach and networking.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, showcasing the value of Read AI’s solutions.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely forecasting of sales activities.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at prospective customer organizations.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for both the customer and Read AI.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align on go-to-market strategies and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.
  • Customer Success Handoff: Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation for new customers.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on SaaS or technology solutions.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in an early-stage startup environment, particularly through managing and converting inbound leads.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to, demo and influence decision makers.
  • Sales Skills: Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices, particularly in managing inbound leads.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly understand and articulate technical concepts and value propositions.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, with an additional performance-based variable component that can match the base salary. Actual total compensation will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
