SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies that prioritize candidate quality and organizational fit.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to potential candidates with a primary focus on operational excellence, proactive, competitive, and cost-effective recruitment solutions.
- Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process to provide an exceptional candidate experience.
- Efficiently manage candidate hiring and onboarding through HRIS and applicant tracking.
- Leverage all traditional and non-traditional sourcing and recruitment marketing, including professional events, job boards, social media, employee referrals, etc.
- Develop and maintain a pool of qualified candidates to meet current and future staffing requirements.
- Coordinate new hire orientations in collaboration with HRBP and coordinate with hiring managers to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and assist in efficiently scheduling applicant interviews.
- Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment and onboarding.
- Provide administrative/clerical support (filing, scheduling, scanning, etc.) for the HR department
- Assist with benefit enrollment
- Participate in HR staff meetings and attend other meetings as needed
- Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from the database
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- Two years+ of experience in the HR field is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Must be detail-oriented, have a professional attitude, and have strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common documentation.
- Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a wide variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
- Excellent math and communication skills.
