Calling all curious and eager College Freshman and Sophomores TrueNorth is offering FOUR students the chance to join our Rotational Insurance Intern Program, where you'll explore the diverse opportunities in the insurance industry. Selected interns will also be automatically enrolled in the Iowa Economic Development Authority's ‘Insure Your Future’ program, providing networking opportunities with interns from other companies and insights from industry leaders.

Our internship program is a 10-week paid program, running May – August 2025. As part of the program, you will rotate within our divisions of Risk Management, Transportation, Employee Benefits, and Workforce Solutions. These rotations will provide different aspects of the company – from sales, service, loss control & claims, and more Learn alongside our seasoned colleagues by attending sales meetings, client visits, market new and renewal business, and draft client presentations and stewardship reports. These positions will be located in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Current Freshman or Sophomore Status
  • Pursuing education in Business, Risk management, or Insurance related field
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Extremely accurate with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Excel
  • Ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the insurance industry
  • Must be comfortable with technology, including Zoom and Outlook
