Internal Medicine Physician

As a Geriatric Care Specialist at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You will take care of a mostly geriatric population, using your medical expertise to care for patients with comorbidities and complex health needs. The patient volume for this clinic is 15-18 patients/day.
This position includes a $30,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, and $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable. You will also receive a residency stipend of up to $18,000 over two years for physicians completing training.
You will practice at Cedar City Clinic, with clinic hours from Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm. Your schedule will include 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts, with on-call responsibilities one week every three weeks.

To be successful in this role, you will need an MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine, ACGME accredited residency training in Internal Medicine, and ABMS board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine. You will also need an active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one, as well as BLS certification and DEA. Finally, you will need to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.
