  • $70 - $80/hour with flexibility based on skills and experience
  • Up to 12-month Contract
  • This will be primarily a REMOTE position with travel to the client site for onsite visits, sometimes lasting 2 – 3 weeks at a time
  • Our client is a respected employer within the community and is going through a period of exciting transformation, rebuilding the existing IT system from the ground up
DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
  • Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in information technology, with a strong background in network and systems administration
  • Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing network architectures, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewalls
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and network issues
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide leadership and mentorship to IT staff
WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE? As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you play a crucial leadership role within the organization, responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. This position involves strategic planning, tactical implementation, and continuous improvement of IT services. The role encompasses the management of IT staff, the IT project portfolio, and ensuring system reliability and efficiency. The IT Infrastructure Engineer will also focus on optimizing system performance and scalability to support the client's mission and operational goals. The role includes comprehensive physical upgrades to the IT operations, ensuring they align with current and future technological advancements.WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Design, implement, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, network equipment, and cloud services
  • Manage and optimize the performance, availability, and security of IT systems
  • Oversee IT operations, ensuring data integrity and efficient system performance
  • Lead comprehensive physical upgrades to infrastructure, hardware, systems, networks, and software to ensure alignment with technological advancements and organizational needs, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for IT infrastructure, aligning with organizational goals
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and future readiness
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the IT team and across departments
  • Address IT-related issues promptly, minimizing disruptions to clinical and administrative operations
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to quality improvement
