Spokane, United States Oculus Search Partners LLC Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

Imagine joining a company that stands at the forefront of medical laboratory technology, where your expertise as a Field Service Engineer truly makes a difference. In this role, you will have the opportunity to service cutting-edge medical laboratory equipment, including hematology, chemistry, and coagulation analyzers. This isn't just another field service job—it's a chance to be part of a team that is committed to ensuring that laboratories in the greater Spokane, WA area run smoothly and efficiently, helping healthcare providers deliver critical diagnostic results.

What makes this role particularly attractive for an experienced Field Service Engineer is the blend of autonomy, technical challenge, and the satisfaction of supporting life-saving medical work. You'll be the go-to expert for automated robotic lab instrumentation, using your skills in electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting to solve complex problems. This is the perfect opportunity if you're looking to apply your expertise in a meaningful way while staying close to home, as the role requires you to be within a 30-minute commute of Spokane.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in the medical device industry, with at least three years of experience as a Field Service Engineer. A certificate or AAS degree in electronics or a related discipline is required, but what truly matters is your hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing sophisticated equipment. If you've worked with medical lab analyzers before, that's a definite plus. And while this role does require some overnight travel, you'll have the support of a strong Field Support Group to help resolve any challenges that arise.

This company values your well-being and work-life balance, which is why they offer a comprehensive benefits package. Along with a competitive base salary of $65K to $80K (with the potential to earn an additional $4K to $10K in overtime and bonuses), you'll receive a company vehicle, laptop, and cellphone. They also provide fully paid family medical coverage, dental, life insurance, a 401K plan, and generous vacation, PTO, and paid holidays. If you're looking to further your education, tuition reimbursement is available, and there's an annual bonus to reward your hard work.

Please note that this role requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and it is not eligible for work sponsorship. If you meet these qualifications and are ready to take the next step in your career, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
