Territory Sales Manager

Territory Sales Manager
Location: Des Moines, IA
Responsible for:
- Responsible for the generation of new business in defined markets through conventional sales strategies to sell integrated fuel systems to convenience store retailers, government agencies (Cities, IDOT, etc.), and fuel marketers.
- Coordinate industry marketing opportunities to promote MPE at trade shows, conventions and other marketing opportunities to engage current and prospective clients
- Assist with developing marketing materials and promotional products for MPE
- Assist project management team with presentations, estimates and proposal development
- Ability to develop a high level of expertise regarding product lines, payment options and industry regulations.
- Work in a team-oriented environment that requires working and communicating positively and professionally with fellow employees, customers, and vendors
- Manage assigned territory, by phone and in-person visits, develop and maintain relationships
- Develop, implement and track contact management process through CRM database
Education and Experience:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of sales/management/business development experience required.
- Construction Trade, Petroleum Equipment or Automotive sales experience preferred.
Hours and Travel:
- This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday
- Daily travel is primarily local, but some overnight regional travel will be required (25%)
