Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Junior Contracting Agent to join our team. The Junior Contracting Agent is responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned commodities, validate product costing, maintain company sourcing cost savings tracker, analyze procurement costs, and provide guidance to suppliers. Support team members and perform other assigned duties.
  • Key skills required for this role include teamwork, communication, time management, listening, and adaptability.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration or a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in supply chain.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and supplier management.
  • Understanding of market dynamics and the ability to make sound business judgments for spending decisions.
  • Product knowledge of Class C components is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong financial analytical skills, attention to detail, and higher-level proficiency in MS-Suite.
  • Desired skills in supplier negotiation and communication.
  • Previous experience in supplier legal contract negotiation is a plus.
  • New supplier setups.
  • Active supplier and MDS system maintenance.
  • Cost increase log maintenance and reporting.
