JOB TITLE: Human Resources/Payroll Support Associate

Full-Time Position, M - F, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

POSITION SUMMARY:

Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. has an opportunity for a HR/Payroll Support Associate to join our Human Resources/Finance Team. This role is responsible for providing support to HR, as well as provide support for our payroll system. The role will also perform a wide range of financial and administrative duties that support the organization's fiscal operations.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Day-to-day coordination of the business operations with the Accounting Manager and program directors to provide payroll administrative support to the Finance Team. The role will also be responsible for supporting the need of the organization in the following areas: payroll support, employee orientation, benefit administration, HRIS administration/reports, and diversity awareness, along with general office administration. benefit files, medical files, etc.) to comply with audit requirements.
  • Performs a wide range of payroll and HR related administrative duties that support the organization’s fiscal operations, including day-to-day coordination of the business operations with the Accounting Manager and program directors.
  • Performs duties in the following financial functional areas; payroll, and data processing as they relate to performing the fiscal support function of the organization.
  • Participates in the payroll process using Proliant/HRIS software.
  • Processes required paperwork for new employee transfers, changes in job classification, offer letters, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
  • Assist employees with routine questions for payroll, resetting passwords and obtaining necessary forms for payroll.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree, combined with 1-3 years’ experience related to responsibilities specified. Familiar with HR and payroll process practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • General MS Office computer skills
