SUMMARY

The Inside Sales Representative is the main point of contact for our Independent Sales Representatives in the field. The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for managing our house accounts and servicing the sales order process in partnership with Independent Sales Representatives. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, ability to follow and improve processes, and a dedication to providing best-in-class service. The ISRs answers inbound telephone calls and emails, on occasion may be asked to make outbound sales calls, enters sales orders and responds to communications from our Independent Sales Representatives regarding sales, product, delivery and inventory.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Receives sales orders from Independent Sales Representatives and enters the necessary details into the CRM system.
  2. Submit artwork requests to convey information on orders for evaluation and execution by the Design Team.
  3. Manage house accounts from the start (communication of initial order) to final delivery of product and follow-up.
  4. Respond to inbound customer service emails and phone calls for both Wholesale and E-commerce customers.
  5. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.


MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities associated with this position are:

  • Attend tournament events, special events, and trade shows to assist with customer needs.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of current inventory levels and communicate potential risks to purchasing and independent representatives for selling purposes.
  • Provide reporting to independent sales representatives if needed.
  • Proactively communicate order challenges to independent sales reps and customers prior to order shipment, including late shipments.
  • Assist the shipping department when needed and communicate any trending customer service issues to key team members.
  • Utilize various software and cloud services, including but not limited to: Google Workspace, Shopify, Prospect CRM, Gorgias Customer Service Inboxes, and Trello.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Must be able to work both independently and as part of a larger team, while maintaining focus and being able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions. 


QUALIFICATIONS


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Other: A 2-year or Associates degree, or significant course work in Business Administration, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field, is preferred for this position but not required.

Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working at/in/for: E-commerce Sales, Retail Sales, Customer Service, or a similar experience.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position travels approximately 11% to 25% of the time. Trips can be local, day trips, overnight, and possibly as long as a week.
