Join our team as an Account Receivable Billing Specialist and play a vital role in our financial operations. In this role, you will serve as a Billing Specialist in the construction industry. As a Billing Specialists, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable/billing process and ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.


Requirements:


  • Perform a variety of routine and non-routine moderately complex billing functions. Prepare timely and accurate billing for designated projects in accordance with contractual agreements and within defined billing cycles or client deadlines, ensuring that all billing is sent to clients on schedule, attaching all necessary backups.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers Teams to generate accurate billing.
  • Prepare and submit invoice packages. including applications for payment sworn statements, lien waivers, and another applicable backup.
  • Distribute invoices to external client through various distribution platforms e.g., email, and client portal uploads.
  • Validate billing requirements, due dates, and basic services provided.
  • Research and resolve routine and non-routine billing, questions, and discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial reports related to billing.
  • Answer calls/emails from internal and external clients relating to billing, accounts receivable, payments, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively arid professionally with external business partners and employees at all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills, being detailed-oriented, and flexibility to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math and accounting skills
  • Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Excel
