How You Will Help Us Make a Difference
In this role, you will have the opportunity to help us create a positive workplace culture for employees and a happy, productive, and welcoming environment for our club members. Here’s a summary of some of our Club Director’s responsibilities:
- Manage overall club operations including the design, planning and execution of program and service delivery.
- Create a positive club climate.
- Champion community relations and outreach initiatives, fostering relationships in the community.
- Lead, coach and supervise a team of youth development leaders and individual contributors.
- Manage and ensure the best utilization of our facilities, including safety and security.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Candidates must pass a level 2 background check to be able to work for BGCMC,
- Four-year degree from an accredit college or university or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of five years of work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization, planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people.
- Leadership and management experience in youth services, family support or K-12 educational setting.
- Proven enthusiastic, positive attitude and effective communication skills and style.
- Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal and relational skills. Proven strong communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products, Outlook, and internet navigation.
- First Aid & CPR Certification or the ability to obtain these certifications.
- Experience as a youth development professional. High level of energy, flexibility, and work ethics. Comfortable performing multi-faceted projects with day-to-day activities. Ability to motivate youth and manage behavioral problems.
- CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred.
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Strong organization, time management skills and ability to set priorities.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, positive attitude, high level of energy and flexibility.

- Part-time role
- Salary Range $23.00-$25.00
- Holiday allowance for eleven paid holidays & 18 hours of vacation
- Free club membership for all your minor children in traditional clubs
