Turf Care Sales Specialist

PRO-TURF Services, a division of AGRILAND FS, seeking a high energy, self-starting Turf Care Sales Specialist with a strong work ethic to help grow our lawn care and sports turf services. As a member of our team, this individual will actively generate new sales leads, bid jobs for residential, commercial, and sports turf, helping customers grow the best lawn throughout the Des Moines metro and surrounding areas.

Core Responsibilities:
- Prioritize activities generating sales leads, turf recommendations, bids, and profitable business
- Estimate application costs for customers and offer professional lawn care recommendations.
- Communicate well with Turf Department Manager to ensure excellent customer service
- Follows all credit policies, accurately completes sales contracts and billing
- Assists operations when necessary to prioritize the timely delivery of products and services
- Stays current on industry information delivering problem solving expertise to accounts

What we need from you:
- Prefer a minimum of a two-year turf or horticulture degree or experience in the turf industry
- Excellent organizational skills with the experience meeting multiple deadlines
- Excellent business and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, sit, crawl, climb, and reach difficult areas as job demands
- Ability to pass all certification tests, obtain a CDL (we offer in-house training)
