Medical Sales Trainer

Purpose:
As a Medical Sales Trainer specializing in wound care, you will play a pivotal role in educating and developing our sales team, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively market and sell our wound care products and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, clinical specialists, and marketing, to create and deliver training programs that align with our business objectives and ensure that our salesforce is well-prepared to meet the unique challenges of the wound care market.
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Medical, Nursing, Business, etc. is preferred
A minimum of 3 years of experience in wound care with a strong clinical background required
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive training programs tailored to the wound care product portfolio
- Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to sales representatives, both in-person and through virtual platforms
- Continuously update and improve training materials to reflect the latest industry trends and product developments
- Serve as the subject matter expert on wound care products, clinical guidelines, and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in wound care technology and treatment modalities
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team on complex wound care cases
- Foster a deep understanding of the sales process and techniques among sales team members
- Train on effective communication, objection handling, and sales strategies specific to wound care customers
- Conduct role-playing exercises and one-on-one coaching to improve sales representatives' performance
- Work closely with product managers, clinical specialists, and marketing teams to develop training content and strategies
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to ensure alignment on sales goals and product launches
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through performance metrics and feedback from sales team members
- Identify areas of improvement and adjust training strategies accordingly
- Ability to travel as needed to conduct in-person training sessions
