Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the planning, design, and construction administration of utility infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
    • Example: Oversee the design and construction of advanced water treatment facilities and stormwater management systems.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including municipal officials and state administrators.
    • Example: Partner with city leaders to deliver efficient and fiscally responsible solutions.
  • Technical Design: Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to design cutting-edge water and wastewater infrastructure.
    • Example: Develop detailed designs for municipal wastewater treatment plants and urban drainage systems.
  • Construction Oversight: Manage construction processes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
    • Example: Oversee the construction of a major water distribution network, ensuring compliance with all specifications.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge of hydraulic, hydrologic, and stormwater management principles to develop effective engineering solutions.
    • Example: Implement hydraulic modeling for flood mitigation projects.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, business correspondence, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
    • Example: Present project progress reports to stakeholders at quarterly meetings.


Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Certification: Kentucky Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the design and construction administration of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
