This position oversees all aspects of tuition and miscellaneous billing. The position is also responsible for reconciling bank accounts, balancing subsidiary ledgers, making adjustments to family accounts for state scholarships, financial aid, etc. Maintaining all documents to ensure easy access by auditors, CPA’s, and other team members. Works closely with Finance Director to ensure compliance for state scholarships as well as accuracy in billing. In addition, this position works with Admissions, Athletics and other administrative team members in relation to billing. Finance Manager with all Audit requirements to include 990, year-end, annual audit/review, AUP audit for state scholarships.

The Finance Manager is a position requiring a calling to use God-given talents to further the Kingdom of God. The Finance Manager is expected to be a minister to the OCS community through actions, speech, attitude, and prayer, as they point students to Christ.


Essential Function:

? Maintain source document to ensure accounts are properly billed (TAD) and that all pertinent information is captured.

? Oversee Finance Assistant roles to ensure that payables are processed timely, credit cards are reconciled timely and proper controls are being followed..

? Manage changes to Credit Card account (adding/deleting cardholders, contacting bank for fraud issues, etc) in addition to monitoring the balance on account to ensure adequate funds are available at all times.

? Monitor bank balances daily to ensure adequate funds are in operating account for payables to include Payroll, FSA balance is maintained at proper level, etc. Notify Finance Director of any concerns in balance.

? Work with CPA firms to gather necessary documents for all audits, year end close, 990 filing. Work with Finance Director to ensure that information is completed timely and accurately to meet all Audit requirements.

? Provide monthly budget reports to budget owners, in addition to providing Balance Sheet, Income Statements, as requested by stakeholders (banks, CPA, management, etc)

? Ensure donations are provided to Development, Finance Assistant for recording in Donor Database and properly recorded in QB. Provide year end receips for all donors by IRS specified date..

? Review late fees, reconcile Renweb & Finalsite to Quickbooks monthly, manage QB recurring transactions.

? Work closely with Finance Director to field parent and employee questions related to billing, etc.

? Work closely with Finance Assistant and help cover position during vacation, absences, etc.

? Maintain electronic and hard-copy records for payables, financial aid, based on agency guidelines.

? Work with HR and Finance Director to assist with Benefit Open Enrollment, FSA elections, etc.

? Record Payroll into QB, calculate 403B elections and maintain template.

? Ability to utilize 10 key, Quickbooks, Excel and Word along with Renweb (student databsase) and other software proficiently to ensure all requirements are able to be met.

? Must be a self starter with high attention to detail as all job functions require this ability

Requirements:

Education Requirement: Associates Degree or equivalent experience

Years of Experience: 3+ years of Bookkeeping experience and/or school finance experience
