Scope:
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 Help Desk Support services for the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) / Executive Services Division (ESD), Parking Management Office (PMO)’s Parking Management System.
The WHS / ESD Parking management Office (PMO) manages all aspects of parking operations for the Pentagon and external facilities. Daily Operations are coordinated through a web-based application that automates temporary parking clearances and long-term parking permits.
Responsibilities:
- As a Help Desk Specialist, you will be expected to work with the Parking Management Office staff and end-users to resolve issues such as:
- Triage new Help Desk tickets
- Assist new users with establishing accounts
- Assisting end users with updating their vehicle and personal profiles
- Guide users through the clearance and permit process
- Maintain application-level security groups
- Participate in daily project meetings
- Assist with software deployments
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by the customer
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
Experience:
- 1 + years’ experience as a technical Help Desk Specialist
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams)
- Proven experience with providing Customer Service
- Efficient in providing immediate assistance and troubleshooting technical issues
- Ability to diagnose customer problems and natural follow-up and follow-through abilities
Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge of Appian or other Low-code application platforms
- Appian Low-code development experience
- Appian Certified Analyst certification is a plus
- Knowledge of Project tracking tool- JIRA
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology
Education:
- Desired (not mandatory) bachelor's degree in any Information Technology (IT) field
Certification:
- IAT Level II Certification (Desired)
