This role provides you with the opportunity to support a team of experienced outside sales managers, and a path to outside sales and variety in your daily job duties between office and field. This opportunity is a result of company growth and expansion.

Customer Account Representative – You Will:

You will work in tandem with the Outside Sales Managers and the Director of Sales to ensure top-tier customer service to existing customers and support sales expansion efforts with new customers.

  • Communicate with existing customers to ensure they are receiving communication about their account including the status of orders and ongoing customer service, building and strengthening customer relationships and troubleshooting customer inquiries and concerns
  • Manage customers product needs and shipping and delivery of product, including traveling to customer sites to drop off product or check on the status of product deliveries
  • Maintain list of sales and customer data and enter customer data and leads into database
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use of sales leads, based on information from websites, trade shows, email campaigns, referrals, and other sources
  • Assist and support the outside Sales Managers with follow up and check in of prospective customers
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of customer agreements
  • Attend weekly sales meeting with sales team, virtual meeting with occasional in person meetings
  • Attend industry events and trade shows

Customer Account Representative Required Skills, Experience & Personality Fit

You have:

  • Excitement to work with an entrepreneurial growing company
  • You are comfortable being on site visiting dairies and dairy farms
  • Experience in a sales coordinator, sales analyst, technical support or outside sales role
  • MS Excel skills (intermediate) – create and data entry into spreadsheets, basic formulas
  • Flexibility - you are working with an entrepreneurial group where priorities often shift and you must be nimble and flexible
  • Ability to travel to visit customers / clean driving record

Customer Account Representative - Desired, Not Required

You might have:

  • Previous experience in a sales coordinator, sales analyst, technical support or outside sales role in the Dairy industry or animal agriculture
  • Education in Animal Sciences / Degree in Animal Sciences or related
  • Proficiency in speaking Spanish

Compensation base salary $75,000. May include additional commission opportunities.

You will work 100% remotely from your home office with frequent travel to visit customer accounts (dairy farms).

You will be provided with comprehensive health insurance, 401k, paid holidays, and paid time off. Company provided auto allowance and technology stipend.
