Job Summary:
Century West BMW is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist. This full-time, individual contributor role will be located at our Studio City, California location and will be responsible for providing comprehensive human resources support to our dealerships. The ideal candidate will have a background in the auto industry and possess strong interpersonal skills, along with a deep understanding of HR best practices.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of $25 to $30 per hour, paid semimonthly. In addition, the selected candidate will also be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries from employees and management
- Manage the full cycle recruiting process, including creating job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees to promote a positive workplace culture and address any employee relations issues
- Administer employee benefits programs and act as a liaison between employees and benefit providers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and manage the HRIS system
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations and provide coaching and support to managers on performance management
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a HR role, preferably in the auto industry
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
