OVERVIEW

As a Senior Visual Designer on our team, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs and marketing materials that support our brand across multiple business units, both internally and externally. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as product marketing, research, and product innovation. You'll interpret a diverse set of creative briefs and ensure the messaging is effectively delivered through stunning visual designs. Your creative expertise will help strengthen our brand, enhance the employee experience, and develop solutions that resonate with consumers both inside and outside our organization.

This role will be remote and will work very closely with their peers in the Princeton, NJ, US office headquarters, producing materials for the global market, predominantly in English. So needs to be willing to conduct meetings and communications with an EST NY time zone, within reason.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Visual Design: Create visually striking designs for use on branded materials, tradeshow graphics, web pages, print, presentations, social media, video titles, and other media.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain and enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all communications.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, gather feedback, and tailor design solutions to meet specific goals.
  • Visual Storytelling: Translate complex ideas and information into visually engaging and easy-to-understand designs.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and approve final designs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
  • Research and Innovation: Keep abreast of the latest design trends and bring those ideas to the client and team.
  • Communication: Keeps the team up to date about project status, including expectations and timelines. Must be able to handle multiple projects.

Experience and Skills:

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

5+ years of professional experience in visual design, preferably in an agency or in-house marketing environment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in design software, especially Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Exceptionally creative and solutions-oriented, as demonstrated through a portfolio showcasing a range of design work.
  • Experience designing clean and human styles in corporate, b2b, education, or other complex business verticals is a plus
  • Optimistic and passionate about the work the team is doing.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Very strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong time management skills combined with self-motivation to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Proven track record of success working in a very fast-paced environment, multi-tasking among a large number of work products and internal partners.
