We are currently seeking a Senior Audio-Visual Specialist to enhance our Government AV/Video Teleconferencing (VTC) production and installation team. This role involves close collaboration with Engineers and Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of project life cycles, ensuring comprehensive project documentation is maintained.
  • Load, test, and troubleshoot control systems, including AMX, Crestron, and Extron.
  • Manage the loading, testing, and manipulation of DSP files, utilizing platforms such as ClearOne, Biamp, and Extron.
  • Configure advanced audiovisual equipment, including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp.
  • Fabricate, terminate, and install AV and IT cabling, including RJ-45, DB-9, 3.5mm, and XLR connections.
  • Set up video conferencing solutions from Polycom and CISCO.
  • Conduct testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of various AV systems.
  • Perform site surveys and document requirements for Engineers and Project Managers.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the audiovisual field.
  • Proven experience in leading teams effectively.
  • Ability to provide precise project documentation for stakeholders.
  • Willingness to undertake additional responsibilities as required.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to obtain a CTS Certification within the first year of employment. Travel to various locations may be required, and an active DoD Top Secret security clearance is highly preferred.

Additional Skills:

  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb.
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications.
  • Ability to interpret basic flow diagrams.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
