Description

As Operations Manager, you’ll collaborate with the executive leadership team to set direction, lead and develop people, serve clients, manage operations, and apply lean thinking and systematic problem solving to continuously improve.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for a geographically dispersed team. They will be assigned multiple practice locations in which they will have direct oversight and lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the clinical team and patient service representatives at these assigned locations; as well as support the physician’s needs. The Operations Manager will ensure their regional area delivers on key organizational metrics. They will analyze variables and develop and implement solutions that positively impact operations. Additionally, they will oversee the development of a positive workplace culture that supports WFAI’s guiding principles.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages daily operations of assigned locations for which they have direct oversight; ensuring provider schedules are appropriately staffed, supervises front line staff, address site issues, supports physicians, etc.
  • Ensures the IT, infrastructure, equipment, quality, compliance, safety, supplies, staffing and other needs of each site are provided for.
  • Provide administrative and clinical leadership to plan, coordinate and manage personnel and resources to provide the highest quality patient care.
  • Assist in creating positive employee relations. Provide leadership to build and maintain a strong team through effective communications, recruiting, training, coaching and development.
  • Partner with Director of Operations to identify, measure and execute growth and retention opportunities.
  • Manage the operation with integrity to achieve performance goals. Monitor, analyze and improve all primary variables impacting operating revenue.
  • Prepare and administer regional area budget.
  • Regular site visits for all assigned locations.
  • Attend daily huddles and other meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Associate/bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting and 2 years supervisory experience is required.
  • Valid-driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
  • Experience in Modernizing Medicine EMR system a plus; working knowledge of EMR workflows required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with collaborative leadership and work style

SCHEDULING

The Operations Manager is expected to work Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to support Saturday operations, as needed. This role may need to be available outside of normal clinic hours, including after hours and during weekends to meet the needs of the organization.
