Job Summary

The National Parts Manager is responsible for the entirety of the fulfillment process including quotation, order intake, and shipment. This position ensures items are retrieved, organized, and shipped in a timely manner.


Major Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Fulfills part orders and payments.
  • Generating quotes, sales orders, and work orders according to customer specifications while maintaining targeted contribution margins.
  • Read and decipher work orders.
  • Locate and extract merchandise from shelves and storage areas.
  • Confirm merchandise information matches that of the work order.
  • Coordinating with the Shop/Materials Manager on work orders for custom parts.
  • Inspect the merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities.
  • Finalize work orders and update the database, managing service tickets from beginning to end.
  • Assembling, labeling, and packaging orders for shipping or customer pickup.
  • Tracks customer parts and orders.
  • Supporting Project Management by providing replacement parts list/tank manuals for completed tank orders.
  • Moves inventory throughout the workspace using various machinery and equipment.
  • Completing cleaning duties as required.
  • Adhere to state health and safety practices.
  • Update the company's online store with parts photos, current pricing, and availability.
  • Creating and promoting part sales through social media and mass marketing emails.
  • Complete drafting work as assigned by the manager.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Previous experience in sales and parts service or equivalent education, related experience, or training.
  • Ability to function with minimal direction. Escalates issues as appropriate with the required level of urgency.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Strong working knowledge with basic measurement tools.
  • High level of conscientiousness and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of conscientiousness and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience using HubSpot.

Working Conditions

This position routinely operates in a medium-noise, non-climate controlled facility with regular exposure to dust and residue. Machinery is present and in operation.

This role requires the employee to occasionally stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products, supplies, and electrical equipment up to 50 pounds.
