Position Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator, under the direct supervision of the Director of Human Resources, supports the functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including recruitment, interviewing candidates, and hiring staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave and enforcing Company policies and practices.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, posting job openings on various platforms, and conducting interviews.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of employee data, including contract, performance reviews, and training records.
  • Coordinates employee events and celebrations, including new hire orientation, employee recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Prepares new-employee files and file documents accordingly.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the HR department.
  • Assists with HRIS updates and data input.
  • Assists with HR reporting
  • Assists with special projects and initiatives at the behest of the Director of Human Resources
  • Maintains recruiting platforms.
  • Handles employee service requests including file access, employment verification, and escalates requests accordingly.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, and/or changed at the discretion of management.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree
  • 2+ years of experience performing full cycle human resources and recruitment functions.
  • 3+ years of experience overseeing talent acquisition.
  • 1+ year experience in HR healthcare or non-profit organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Applications and project management software.
  • Experience with HRIS platform (e.g., Paylocity, preferred).
  • Valid and unrestricted California driver’s license with a good driving record and personal auto insurance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Flexible personality and a quick learner who operates with a sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of patient rights, confidentiality, and laws pertaining to health care, mental health, and substance use.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects, delegate when appropriate, work relatively independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Wage Range: $27.00 – $34.00/hr

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
