ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
NW Territory, SW Territory, consisting of most of the West Coast.
Roughly a $7-12 million dollar portfolio.
1. Sells and services products for manufacturer to business establishments along with promoting and specifying products to engineering community.
2. Networks and compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, and utilizes CRM.
3. Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
4. Displays or demonstrates products, introduces website, distributes catalogs and samples.
5. Investigates and resolves customer problems.
6. Cooperates with colleagues to service customer needs.
7. Attending various gatherings, and company products and service shows.
8. Quotes prices and develops sales forecasts.
9. Identifying problems and demands that are not met.
10. Analyzing to determine the most effective marketing strategies.
11. Generating various strategies to increase sales volume.
12. Creating and submitting sales reports regularly.
13. Observing the competition-related to the company’s niches.
14. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS
1. Analytical, problem-solving ability.
2. Technical skills.
3. Interpersonal skills with ability to resolve conflict, professionalism.
4. Good oral and written communication skills.
5. Strategic thinker, prioritizes and plans time effectively.
6. Good judgment, motivated, ethical, dependable, and cost-conscious.
7. Project management.
8. Can support organization’s goals and values.
9. Able to provide support to teammates and show leadership ability.
10. Knowledge of Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
11. Current valid driver’s license.
12. Able to obtain passport and travel to Canada.
13. Must be able to travel 75% of the time.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university or
2. One to two years related experience and training or
3. Equivalent combination of education and experience.
