Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing charts and pulling notes before their arrival, providing routine support alongside physicians and medical staff, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care. You will also be helping with prescription refills, prior authorizations and patient calls.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare for the patient visit, including blood pressure, medication documentation.
  • Clean rooms and sanitize for next use.
  • Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
  • Assist PA and doctor with basic medical care and procedures
  • Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
  • Performing allergy test and giving allergy injections
Qualifications
  • Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Vital team player
  • Allergy knowledge a plus
